26-Year-Old CT Man Killed In Single-Vehicle Crash

A Connecticut man has died after his truck veered across a highway and rolled over.

A 26-year-old Windsor Locks man was killed in a rollover crash on Route 5/15 in Hartford.

The crash occurred in Hartford around 2:15 p.m., Tuesday, May 14, on Route 5/15 northbound, south of Exit 89.

According to the Connecticut State Police, 26-year-old Andrew Joel Saez of Windsor Locks was driving a 2006 Toyota Tundra when, for unknown reasons, the truck veered across the right lane and entered the left lane of the Exit 89 off-ramp.

State Police said the truck veered into the right lane, crossed the right shoulder, and entered the grassy area to the right of the off-ramp. 

It then rolled over and came to a rest in the grassy area on the right of the roadway.

Saez, who suffered severe life-threatening injuries, was transported to Hartford Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
